Fred Mongello
Fred D. Mongello handles general civil litigation with a specialty in all forms of personal injury cases including motor vehicle accidents (including motorcycles and commercial trucks), slip-and-falls (on private, public and commercial properties), premises liability, wrongful death, and medical malpractice.
Originally from Plainfield, New Jersey, Mr. Mongello received his B.A. from Villanova University in 1996 and his Juris Doctorate from the Seton Hall School of Law in 1999. Mr. Mongello is licensed to practice law in both the State of New Jersey and the State of Florida.
Mr. Mongello’s first legal job was working as a law clerk for the presiding judge in Newark, New Jersey, the second largest vicinage in the United States.
Mr. Mongello entered private practice in New Jersey working at the law firm of Mongello & Marshall from 1999 through 2006. At Mongello & Marshall, Mr. Mongello began to hone his skills in personal injury law.
Mr. Mongello moved to Florida in 2008. He joined the Law Office of Grant & Dozier, LLC in November 2013. Since joining the firm, Mr. Mongello has spear-headed and greatly expanded the firm’s personal injury practice.
Mr. Mongello has over 10 years of experience in the private practice of law. By focusing on personal injury, Mr. Mongello has learned many “tricks of the trade” to maximize his clients' recovery for their pain-and-suffering and property damage. Mr. Mongello searches for all sources of recovery for his clients included bodily injury coverage, uninsured motorist coverage, umbrella policies, and personal property.
Mr. Mongello has a well-rounded background. In addition to the private practice of law, he has also spent time managing a chain of multi-million dollar Radiology Imaging facilities in New Jersey and running a restaurant in Naples, Florida for 5 years. Working in Radiology, Mr. Mongello developed the compassion needed for working with people who are dealing with pain-and-suffering through no fault of their own. While managing a restaurant, Mr. Mongello learned the value of working with people on a one-on-one basis, the importance of customer service, and the need for attention to details.
Mr. Mongello’s other interests include classic movies, playing the piano, singing, songwriting, and collecting rare comic books.
